The Rubble

 Russia and China historically abhor Islamists and the religion itself  per se, but see them as "useful idiots" in their joint  struggle against what they perceive as decadent and decaying Western democracies.  

However countries which have experienced the lethal effects of militant Islam don't agree that there is any usefulness in Islamists and see them not as  idiots,  but as dangerous intelligent  threats. One can count in this India, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Tunisia, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia,  Malaysia   and half a dozen Sahel  African states who are  Muslim majority.  Throw in  the large landmass of the Central Asian "stans" from Uzbeks to  Azarbaijanis and  you have  a huge chunk of the world's Muslim states.

As far as the Arab states of the Middle East  are concerned, revolutionary Iran is a  pure poison, for almost half a century.  The Shiite Islamic revolution makes no bones about it's intention to destroy and replace all of their governments, from Jordan to Kuwait and everything in between, with Islamist regimes pattered on Shiite hegemony, led by themselves.

If some had doubts, Iran lashed out at the Ibadi Muslims of Oman, a non-confrontational  branch of the religion.  Known for avoiding extremism and promoting peaceful coexistence,  Oman was the hopeful broker  of the February 2026 Iran-US peace talks. It got droned.

The Russians and Chinese indeed have carefully cultivated BRICS over the past decade to prepare an monetary assault on the galleon of the dollar, whose sinking would drown in it's wake   the Euro, Pound and Yen as well. This would be a nail in the coffin of the Western hegemony they intend to replace with their own. 

It would be  anchored by four nuclear armed states (Russia, China, North Korea and Iran) and the hoped for add-on of Pakistan. Iran's zero-sum attack an all and sundry including  recent sign-on members like the UAE,  has exposed the fatal flaw in BRICS - many  members of the "alliance" hate each other more than they hate the West.  BRICS has turned, in the current conflict, to rubble.

Surprisingly to some but not to this author, the strongest allies of  the Islamists and increasingly as we  see on the streets of Europe , are the Western radical left.

Say Her Name

 

This is 16 year old Atefeh  Sahaaleh    moments before she was murdered  by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2004. She was 16 years old.  
She was convicted of “crimes against chastity” under Iran’s Sharia‑based penal code. State media falsely reported her age as 22 and accused her of adultery, though she was unmarried. Atefeh was orphaned young, endured abuse, and had been arrested multiple times before for similar charges, receiving lashings each time. Her trial ignored her age and mental health, and the judge who sentenced her personally carried out the execution.She was hanged from a crane in a public square in Neka, in front of a crowd.

The Octopus in Iran

 I am trying to think of a single international law that Iran has not continuously broken for 47 years. Some, such as the killing of it's own people, are in UN Charter terms grounds for regime removal. Anyone waving this  "international law"  canard against the ongoing Israeli-USA strike mission  is either a full collaborator i.e. the Green Party,  or a NIMBY fence sitter (Democrats and every  leftist party in Europe).

We have suffered decades of terrorism. Once it was inspired by communism, now its Islamo, Narco, organized international crime etc.  If it was up to the centre left ruling elites, Itan would now or very soon have nukes and ICBMs andthus  be irremovable. 

It would not probably use those nukes as Israel could destroy them . However since they  believe in the Apocalypse where Christ will return as a Muslim to destroy "the cross" and tthe Jews", who knows what these mega-heretical  religious psychopaths would do?

More likely they would use the nuke "shield" to cause much more endless rehional terrorism and mini-wars on a much larger scale.

At least 3 ME countries would be racing to build their own (Saudis, Egypt and Turks)  as they have sworn to do if Iran got nukes.

Some are bravely doing the entire world a favour and especially in regards to asserting Judaeo Christian  civil values over the first openly Islamo-Fascist revolutionary state, hopefully making sure the lesson makes it the last. 

While  do- nothing  fence sitters, by their own inaction, give  a great encouragement to the Iranian regime and it's "pals" internationally.  

Reoultionary Iran is the world's number one octopus of Islamo - terrorism. Far more dangerous than Osama or ISIS, because it controlls a vast state in a global hotspot.  It's tentacles spread into dozens of countries in every continent, committing thousands of terrorist acts. You can't harm an octopus cutting of a tentacle. It will grow another. You have to squash the head.

Donald Trump Suffers Snow Blindness

 I think Trump says some dumb things and fairly often. And also funny and occasionally wise things.  But he rarely does dumb things. He usually calculates carefully, based on a lifetime of extremely tough business decisions and plans - it's his way.

 But on Greenland stuff  he has lost me totally. Greenland may have minerals, but mining them economically  in that harsh environment is dodgy. IMO he would be much better removing endless Democrat law fare that has blocked US home  mineral exploitation, even of precious rare earths for,  decades. The US has huge untapped resources.

Threatening new tariffs has put on hold the EU-US trade deal that he negotiated much to US advantage. With his tariff powers under present scrutiny in the Supreme Court, this outraging of allies could tip more than one justice to tear up his entire tariff policy.

Yes Russia and China have huge artic designs and are implementing them physically. NATO/US have not been awake or planning for that.  But Sweden, Norway, Finland and Canada are all Arctic ATO allies and not to alienated when surely by tough negotiation, the USA could get the bases and security guarantees it wants.

Many say this is just typical Trump overstating and blustering to get a negotiated advantage. Maybe but it seems more like an obsession st this point and endangering much between allies.

Marriage

 To me it is very simple.

Marriage is a umion to begat children between a male and female when biologically possible, based on hetrosexual love. Even if the sexes marry for another reason, as male and female, and prefer childlessness, the possibility of the better remains. But, as they decide on a union of selfs, they deny society a future.

Because without children born of that society, it has no  future in the end.

Love Those Narcos

 The Trump Administration nas in 2025 sunk  numerous narco  boats on both Atlantic and sometimes Pacfic  oceans. This is after narcotics dealers were  attempting to smuggle using high speed boats from Venezuela and other places, were designed terrorist organizations - making them legal targets  for military strikes without warning.

Indeed, were the narco operators of the boat trained naval men, the last thing they would have done is cling to an overturned target hull because that was liable for more destruction.

According to the insinuations of the "legal experts" --  of course unnamed or -- countless Nazi and Japanese naval targets in WW2 should not have been destroyed  because they had survivors slinging to the unsunken boats or ships. The crippled and  listing Bismarck, with a few thousand sailors on it, should have been left alone to find it's way back to a safe port. The famous order "Sink the Bismarck" would in 20254 have been "illegal"?

WII submarines were forced to surface due to damage by depth charges and then sunk while crews were exposed on deck. Notable examples include German U‑boats such as U‑175 (1943) and U‑185 (1943), and Japanese submarines like I‑52 (1944). This too would be all wrong using the reasoning of legal "experts". The submarine  should have been allowed  allowed  to carry on, if they could. 

The BBC contrasts a new strike by the US Coastguard December 30th 2025 of 3 narco boats and says Coastguard is looking  for up to 8 survivors who abandoned the boats for the water. This was and is standard naval practise too in numerous wars, because the boats have been sunk, one rescues if one can, survivors. A drone, which struck the contentious  Septrember narco boat, is unable.

Take German U‑175 (April 1943). Forced to surface by depth charges .Submarine crippled and sunk by US Coast Guard cutter Spencer. Survivors abandoned ship and were picked up by Allied escorts. Or Japanese I‑361 (May 1945) was attacked by US destroyer escort USS Reeves near Okinawa. Submarine surfaced fatally damaged, crew abandoned ship.Survivors rescued and taken prisoner by Allied forces. One can assure the "legal experts" who do not know stem from stern about the rules of naval warfare are well versed in political lawfare against the Trump administration.

Social Psychosis

 This  is Nemo, the first transgender winner of the Eurovision song contest held in 2025. Though notoriously camp, tacky and chavs-on-steroids, the show is hugely popular.   Switzerland won  this year.   Israel came second and was  the  viewers fdavourite in the SMS votes.

For next year    Eurovision has been split, wioth various countries  including Iceland, Spain, Belgium  and Ireland refusing to take part if Israel participates in 2026. It's all part of the anti-semitic social psychosis sweeping Western society.

Belgium's excuse might be that it is tending strongly Sharia with mass immigration. Iteland,Spain and Iceland have religious backgrounds in  antisemitism and a history of abuse of Jews.  The former get it from Catholicism pre Pope John Paul II,  and Iceland from Lutheranism - all high;y anti--Jew for centuries.

Nemo is showing His/It's "support" for Gaza with a  gesture, handing back his winning trophy to show his distate for Israel even being allowed to parcipate in futrure.

There is a false sense of anticipation, a will-they/won't-they on the approval which is strenuously objected to by so many - but the delay is merely a kabuki show. Starmer will come back from China annoucing all sorts of "deals"with the CCP that will "benefit" Britain, as a fig leaf to cover for allowing the Chinese to build their mega spy-centre right in the hearts of the USA's supposed best ally, Britain.

Of course this is also a useful place from which China can suborn mand surveil  the entire EU and NATO.

Most of the grandees of the Tory and Labour parties are invested heavily in Chiese ventures, just as the same holds for both parties in the USA.

Large parts of Labour, notably backbenchers wqho seem to hold this government on puppet strings, find as much, or more to admire in the way the CCP organizes  it's society than how Westminister does. They see no problem in selling UK by the pound to Beijing.

Budget Blues

 Looking at this latest UK Budget, which is anti-growth and pro-benefits and welfare is a sorry snapshot. 1 in 8 businesses leaving UK..Labour's huge donor Mittal of Mittal Steel personally leaving. Business confidence dropping month after month, whole sectors like small agriculture in despair and 15% of the population on disability benefits.

I have not put a penny into UK in all my investments and the general at attitude in MU finance circles, and worldwide, is that it's a hopeless case until this sorry lot of washed up,  dated  class warriors are dumped. Yet, with that majority it's years away.

In a country where a staggering 20%  of  people are foreign born and almost none of them legal immigrants,  the government sets out even more magnets of benefits - and then scraps the two child cap when the average British born woman has only 1.4% population birth rate, which is a full third behind basic population  replacement rate (2.2%).

On the other hand Muslim women have an above average fertility rate and the Fakeugees and boat people from Somalia and other African countries have the highest rate of all.

Thus no wonder the Labour backbenchers from the crumbling  cities now dominated by foreigners and sharia, were desperate to get the two child cap lifted. It's for  for their now and future constituents. Once more Britain's political class  shafts it's own people.

The elite of the UK, both Tory and Labour, for generations now have been like  a slimy cad who publicly praises his excellent wife whilst secretly  bonking  a tart.

Their patriotism comes last after they have satisfied their pretentions of virtue,  which are always at the expense of lower orders of society like workers, businesses and farmers. And the natiuve born Britons. Or so they think.

The  November budget from the  Labour party is just one more nail in the coffin of decline and  Britain cannot seem to prise the lid.

 Shutdown Update: It's teaching folks US's interclocked and balanced government. So SCOTUS today blocks the District Judge's order for Trump to pay the food help for 42 million Americans on this programme. Outrage! Shock ! Horror!  No..a 100-% legally correct deciion going right back to 1776. 

 Congress controls the money. With no spending bill, there is no money.

 A  Fed judge "ordering" the Admin to fund billions in Food Aid from where? Auction the White House? Raid the gold reserves?  Do judges make executive decisions in place of The Presidency?  The district  Judge's order was a  danger to democracy and  unconstitutional. 

Feminized radicalismof the neo-left  views every wish via  emotion as "truth"..which would lead to Juristocratic tyranny as Judicial orders overrule Congressional  appropriations.

A smooth video, probably produced by a Russian media outlet but  omitting to mention obvious  problems African countries face beyond  partnership choices.

It'ss no good just re-organizing ownership of resources, or ditching "Western influence" in exchange for another. You have to actually develop productive capacity and make things well  and cheap enough to sell them or trade with others.

 Until African countries can do that they will merely be exchanging one dominance, let’s say France, for another. In this case, Russia’s.

Secondly the relations between Africans countries and the so-called “West” are not similar. Britain has far different relationships with its former colonies, for example.  North Africa is different again.  The video  makes it sound like Burkina Faso is a representative of the whole continent.

As for nuclear weapons, for what possible strategic purpose would any African country need them except to use against another African country? Who intends to invade any African country? Only Islamists,  Africans themselves. Or neighbors over a border dispute of which Africa has several. Who does any of the 50+ countries intend to invade outside Africa or attack? Nobody.

Africa’s problems are not to do with so called “Weste n dominance”" so much  but in moving from resource selling and peasant agriculture to creating the knid of internal governance, free of corruption and tribalism/ethnicism, to create societies of educated makers and doers in the modern sense.

This is what every country, including those of Europe, has had to go through to become rich and powerful. African unity will remain a dream until a majority of it's sates are thriving and democratically run.

The Great Deception

 

This month marks the start, four years ago,  of the  COVID lockdowns and  cover-up of the origins of a  virus, engineered in Wuhan and partly funded by US and UK  grants and research. This  despite such being forbidden by  Presidents Obama  and Trump in the USA. It was  circumvented by outsourcing it to China in  a lab controlled by the Chinese military health service.  What could possibly go wrong?

The sleazy cover-up that followed damaged the prestige of scientific “experts” and science itself for  a generation. It forced Biden to preemptively pardon Dr. Fauci whilst in the UK Lord Vallance,  who led the British cover-up,  has been rewarded by appointment as  Stamer’s science minister. The social, economic and personal damage done to Western society by the COVID public health failyre  will reverberate for many more years.

Today one thanks the honest scientists like Drs. Alina Chan, Sunetra Gupta  and Jay Bhattacharya and dozens of others who were smeared, hounded and  lost their jobs for speaking the truth at the time.

This sordid tale of Chinese scientists engineering a furin cleavage into an already deadly virus, at the behest of the Chinese military and final oversight  of the Chinese Communist Party shows the terrible danger of science  controlled and funded by totalitarians like the CCP. 

Yet also uncovered was the dangerous adjacency and collusion of top scientists and politicians in democratic countries. Astonishingly, UK and US scientists played the role of  Wuhan  funding dupes and then massivly supressed this truth.

Science should be about the truth and that sets us all free. In  this COVID episode  we got  instead  lies that end up  harming us.

The "lockdowns" policy also aped the CCP's verion of public health in a pandemic. This was the reverse of  more than a century fn international pandemic practise whereby the sick are quarantined and the well keep the economy going. Now, like the CCP,  we quarantined the  well and what followed was an instant economic disaster. 

Sir Keir Doge?

 Notable news today that Sir Keir Starmer is to get rid of the massive quango that is NHS England, an oversight body, saving billions of pounds.

So the NHS is  like the US Dept of Education. Administration costs soar , whilst patient outcomes and healthcare access has plummeted and costs are out of sight. Since the  US Dept of Education was founded (1979) the average cost of a public university education  has risen fro $10,200 ( 4 years) to $99,680 with  no increase in scholastic attainment.

In dollar power $10,200 in 1980 is now $32,900 after inflation. That should be the cost of a 4 year public  degree in USA today, so the costs   are now  3 X higher than economic reality. 

The budget of the Dept of Education in 1980 was $14.2 billion and in 2024 was $268 billion, but adjusted for inflation it's budget today should be some $54 billion.  The number of employees in the Dept  in 1980 and today is almost the same.  It is simply spending 3 x the amount of money for no change in educational outcome.

Which is why Trump  proposes to abolish  the Dept of Education and in UK presumably why Sir Kier has gone DOGE  and canned NHS England.  About the first right thing Sir Keir has done. Imagine what he will find if he looks into other government departments.

The Beehive of History

Current events in the USA, starting with the dreadful  alt-right/alt-left confrontation  in Charlottesville prompted this comment from me to a friend:

If one says the least non-derogatory remark about one of history's "predetermined villains", historical activists swarm onto one like a hive of angry bees, piling on the stings without bothering to ponder why they are agitated.

 Lee was so highly considered an officer that Lincoln offered him command. He did not "declare war on America" - he resigned from the US Army after Virginia left the Union , which left him the choice of fighting Virginians or the non-Virginians who soon invaded it - and he saw himself first as a Virginian and secondly as a US citizen, like a majority of people did in those days when the Federal government was miniscule and  younger than Virginia's. It is plain from his writings he saw the coming war as a tragedy, not as a yahoo event to impose more slavery, lunike Gen Bedford Forrest and others. 

He is not guilty of "war crimes", did not order the massacre of black soldiers  and worked after the war to urge reconciliation. He celebrated the end of slavery and made it plain he had never fought for that, but for his State. There are numerous parallels in history of people like Lee, who fought for ignoble causes because of misplaced duty or tragedy in their situation. Rommel is perhaps a parallel and militarily there are many others. They are complex beings with many motives.

It is possible to study, read about, debate about and even view statues of Lee (gasp!) and similar complex figures without automatically becoming a racist, slave supporter and despicable human being. That is  modern politics devising  a judgement on the unchangeable past. Just as it is possible to view a statue of Cromwell or debate his complexities without becoming a regicide.

University students taking a hammer to Lee's statue is nothing more than ahistorical barbarism and a sign of parallel  extremist minds as the very people who stupidly and malignantly take a Lee statue as a rallying point for neo-supremacy. The past is dead, and is not coming back - but if we cannot study it, if it is erased entirely or only a single,totalitarian view of it or anyone in it permitted, then we really will re-live it."

Mangling Munich: British Broadcasting Correctness

The BBC decided, some 18 hours into the Munich McDonald's massacre, to drop "Ali" from the name of the Irano-German perp, one David Ali Sonboly.

Als  In  the story  were pictures of Anders Brevik and  comments on how the Munich shootings came exactly on the anniversary of  the Nazi nutcase's rampage in Norway. Omitted was that the shootings also came on the anniversary of the establishment of the second colony in Virginia, of 10,000 Jews of Polannoe murdered in Russia and the birth date of Rev. William Archibald Spooner.

Here we see the subtle bias of the PC establishment and  it's propaganda and enabling arms like the BBC.

With a few omissions and straw man insertions they got across the message  they  deliver worldwide: " Non-Muslim (presumed white and German)  creates ultra right wing shooting spree". 

Numerous interviews with former classmates showed he was universally called "Ali" and not David by his bullying Sunni classmates. Notable were the large number of Albanian and Turk Sunni victims of his shooting, which also included numerous shouts of "Ahhah Akbar". 

Sense and Nonsense on Iran

One op-ed "War  Is Probably Our Best Option"  in The Washington Post makes a very clear case for the use of force against Iran as against the current "negotiations" that actually mean surrender  to Iran in many eyes.

The Obama Kerry Iran appeasement is causing immediate unintended consequences in the world most unstable and explosive region. Already this week  Saudi Arabia has reached out for nuclear agreement with South Korea and has promised to "match" anything Iran does. Egypt will certainly be next, followed perhaps by Turkey and others. Why? Because they see the consequences of  the Obama-Kerry plan, and are adjusting to reality. The reality is, the USA is going to allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon and ICBM delivery systems too. The latter a crucial and overlooked marker from Iran as to it's future intentions.

 Further reality is that the  USA has lost the trust of key Sunni Middle East countries like Saudi, Jordan,the Gulf  States and Egypt- not to mention Israel. More reality? They are going to go nuclear too, and Israel will have to also go the ICBM route to match Iran. So much for "Nuclear peace in our time".  The result is a nuclear nightmare.

The fruit of this plan will be darker than any limited strike on Iran in the long run. 

The worst nightmare would be a nuclear armed Middle East,  dominated by Iran, given the fundamental Sunni-Shia divide that has driven all Islamic politics since the death of Ali at Kebala in 680 AD.  The arms-race in that region as a result of the Iran Obama/Kerry deal will be fast paced, multi-country and determined.

The author is correct- only force or the threat of it stopped Middle Eastern nations from acquiring nuclear weapons abilities. That did not happen with North Korea only because, with uncertainty over the neighboring China's reaction, force could not be used. Who is going to render the same virtual protection  to Iran?  Only China and Russia can, and there is no indication they wish to have a nuclear Iran on their doorsteps either. Their outrage would be cosmetic.

It is the threat of  force and crippling sanctions that brought Iran to the negotiating table in the first place and  only guarantor of a non-nuclear Middle East, on the doorstep of Europe, is more of the same. The USA has the technology to take out Iran's nuclear programme with very little cost now. It will be impossible to remove it, or control it, a decade from now.

Clinton's Crocodile Tears

 An article in  The Daily Nation claims Hilary Clinton was deeply hurt to hear the US accused of being anti-Islamic  in her recent tour of Bangla Desh.

Clinton has reason to be "deeply hurt" but it is not Islam under attack in the USA , it's Christianity. Christians are reviled and mocked by progressives. Atheists hold parades next to churches cursing and blaspheming - but never next to mosques. 

The Democrats depict  Christians as backward, anti-abortion child molesters. Democrat controlled  states pass  laws restricting the rights of worship - none  or little of this is geared at Muslims. For Muslims, the elites that rule America bend over backward, putting on Islamic clothing, celebrating "Idd", accusing people of "Islamophobia", banning the use of the word "jihadi", praising the Koran, ignoring Islamic abuse of women  and so on.

The Hyenas Reach New Lows

Just when we thought the pack of hyenas that make up the greedy, Kenya political class could get no worse, comes this story here from the Nation, showing that having been  finally forced to pay taxes on their bloated salaries, the predatory parliamentarians have  now raided the public famine kitty to compensate themselves. 

Obama Appoints New Ec onomic Chief

 Bloomberg News, firmly in delusion mode, writes:

With unemployment stuck above 9 percent, the U.S. needs all the job-creation expertise it can get. For that reason, President Barack Obama’s choice of Alan Krueger, an eminent labor economist, to head the Council of Economic Advisers is an inspired one.Krueger, a Princeton University professor, has built his academic career on the study of labor markets, wage structures and long-term unemployment. He also has strong policy-making credentials. During the first two years of the Obama administration, he served as chief economist at the Treasury Department, where he helped devise the first stimulus package, the cash-for-clunkers effort and the Build America Bond program.

Krueger has shown that he understands the need for a strong government role as an anti-recessionary force, especially after a contraction brought on by a severe financial crisis.

If this nominee was behind the cash-for-clunkers fiasco  and part of the  the giant Pelosi-Reid stimulus debacle, than I can hardly see how he can inspire anything but foreboding.  Nice to know that after 3 years, Obama finally get's that it's all about jobs and not handing out green-energy salvation projects  to Democratic donors.  It is however amusing to see Obama embracing deregulation, broadly, and tax cuts (in effect), overturning Davis-Bacon and a number of other scared cows the left is going to scream over. At the heart of the matter it's just Obama and co playing the same old game....i.e.  big government has the answer and can create jobs and distribute wealth fairly and better than the individual. What's new? With the track record this good professor has, I will sit on the fence.
