ONION DOME OR TERROR DOME?

The nefarious US "Council On American Islamic Relations" (CAIR) , many of whose members have been deported or jailed in the USA for terrorist links, has forced Boeing to withdraw a military helicopter ad that showed a stimulated landing on a mosque roof. The new combat aircraft is the Osprey. The aircraft "delivers Special Forces to insertion points never thought possible," says the text of the ad.

The ad "clearly portrays special forces assaulting a mosque, a structure dedicated to civilian worship purposes," said CAIR executive director Nihad Awad, in a letter to the two companies. "This gives the impression that 'the insertion points never thought possible' are Islamic places of worship."

As scholars of Islam and ordinary Kenyans know from weapons caches recovered locally in the Isiolo mosque, mosques are often traditionally centres for planning and launching jihad, for sheltering Islamic terrorists and keeping kafirs and infidels captive. Not quite the Sistine Chapel.

"It descends from the heavens. Ironically it unleashes hell," says the ad, published by Boeing and Bell Helicopter. Maybe Boeing should have named the helicopter the Jihadi.
